District Mission Statement
Developing
Lifelong Learners for a Changing World
In USD 503, we hold high expectations for our students and
believe that they will meet those expectations. We recognize that
students enter our schools with differing backgrounds, needs and
potentials. We recognize that students learn at different rates
in different ways. Based upon these beliefs, we expect that USD
503 students will demonstrate:

1. Decision-making and problem solving skills.
2. Proficiency in communication and academic skills.
3. Respect for self, others and the environment.
4. An appreciation for our American heritage, its ideals, and
multi-cultural richness.
