District Mission Statement

To prepare all students academically and socially,
empowering them to be productive members
of a diverse, global society.

Adopted by the Board of Education June 21, 2010

In USD 503, we hold high expectations for our students and believe that they will meet those expectations.  We recognize that students enter our schools with differing backgrounds, needs and potentials.  We recognize that students learn at different rates in different ways.  Based upon these beliefs, we expect that USD 503 students will demonstrate:

EXIT OUTCOMES
1.  Decision-making and problem solving skills.
2.  Proficiency in communication and academic skills.
3.  Respect for self, others and the environment.
4.  An appreciation for our American heritage, its ideals, and multi-cultural richness.
