This class is designed for students who wish to become stronger as well
as increasing physical ability. This class will assist the
student in performing at the highest level of their abilities. Upon
completion of this class, the student will have a more in depth
knowledge of a variety of training regiments. This class will
develop proper sport and strength training techniques.

TONING AND AEROBIC FITNESS

Any student may enroll in this class. It is a coed class designed
for the student who would like to become physically fit. This
class is designed for students wishing to increase muscle tone, reduce
body fat and increase cardiovascular fitness. Upon completion,
the student will have a more in depth knowledge of physical training
for fitness.

This class is an all male or all female class designed to give the
incoming student an overall exposure to what the physical education
department has to offer in the fitness and sport areas. Students will
be introduced to fitness topics, volleyball, flag football, superball,
basketball, bowling, soccer, floor hockey, pickleball, badminton,
softball, lacrosse, shuffleboard card games, field hockey,
weightlifting stunts, tumbling, and dance. The Health subjects
covered are designed to give students a deeper knowledge and
understanding of how to live a healthy life and safeguard against
health risks. Subjects covered include fitness, nutrition, human
sexuality, sexually transmitted diseases, communication skills,
skeletal and muscular systems, as well as first aid and CPR.

GAMES

Grades: 10–12
This is a coed class designed to give students the opportunity to play
and build their skills in those games that involve a horizontal
net. Games include volleyball, badminton, pickleball, table
tennis, and tennis. While being involved in these activities
students will learn strategies and problem solving skills.
